If you have any questions about how we handle your personal data, you are always welcome to reach out to us directly at the address above.
What Data We Collect
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect only the information you choose to provide. This typically includes:
- Your first name (and, where provided, your partner's name)
- Your email address
- The date you subscribed
- Basic engagement data — such as whether you opened or clicked links in an email, collected by our mailing platform
We do not collect sensitive personal data, payment information, or anything beyond what is genuinely necessary to send you our newsletter.
Why We Collect It
The personal information you share with us is used exclusively to send you our newsletter and a curated collection of stories, inspiration, and updates from our work photographing weddings and elopements across Tuscany.
We will never use your data for purposes other than those stated here, and we will never sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, we are required to identify a legal basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:
- Consent · Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — You have freely given, specific, and informed consent by completing and submitting our newsletter sign-up form.
- Legitimate interests · Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — In limited cases, we may process engagement analytics to ensure our newsletters are relevant and our communication is functioning correctly.
You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before withdrawal.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal data for as long as your newsletter subscription remains active. Once you unsubscribe — or if you request that we delete your data — we will remove your information from our active mailing list promptly and within 30 days at the latest.
Anonymised or aggregated data — for example, overall open rate statistics with no identifying information — may be retained for analytical purposes even after you unsubscribe.
