A Month Exploring Italy
These are the 33 days that changed our lives, forever.
We flew. We drove. We rode trains. From the mountains of Trentino Alto-Adige to the Roman forum, we spent over a month exploring Italy. Getting to know the land our families came from.
A year went by while we prepared for this trip. After what felt like endless research, we came up with the perfect itinerary for a first visit to Italy. We made our way from Milan, to the Dolomites, then down all the way to Rome.
We’ve lived in a few different places across the globe. We’re fortunate to have done a little traveling. But Italy was one of those places where we had been “saving” for a special trip. And this was everything we had hoped for.
We knew it wasn’t a one-time destination. A little over a month in Italy would never be enough time to even begin to scratch the surface on everything Italy has to offer. Now looking back at it, we still think we would have to make multiple trips back to see (eat) more of the land our families came from.
Italy stole our hearts. This was our month exploring Italy, and it changed our lives. These are our Small Doses #74
