Documentary at heart. Editorial in style. Deeply rooted in this place we call home.
We are Frankie and Marilia — a film wedding photographer duo based in Tuscany, just outside Florence, photographing on film and digital for over fifteen years. We photograph destination weddings across Tuscany and Italy for couples who care about how their day is remembered — refined, emotive imagery made to last.
We are drawn to moments as they naturally unfold — the atmosphere, the movement, the in-between. Our work is rooted in attention, staying closely attuned to light, timing, and the interactions happening around us. At the core, we are documentarists with intention. Nothing forced — only what feels natural in the moment, quietly curated.
Living in Tuscany shapes the way we work and how we see. It’s not somewhere we travel to — it’s home. An adopted one. We moved here for the love of it, and have come to understand the rhythm of this land, how the light shifts, and how to honor it. For our couples, that translates into a day that feels effortless — and imagery that feels true to this place.
We work with couples who value presence over performance. People who chose Italy with intention — and want their photographs to reflect that.

Marília Marsulo
The one who notices everything
An eye for detail that borders on unreasonable — and the calm to match, even when a wedding day doesn’t. Naturally tall. Obsessive lover of dogs, architecture, and languages. Cries at movies. Fond of great films, but unapologetically fond of romantic comedies. Her name has an accent that makes it Mah-ree-lhah — like the Versilia coast.

Finds light in unexpected places
Connects with people instinctively. Grew up a punk, still very much in love with the music and the ethos. Gets motion sick on planes and cars, but never on rollercoasters. Passionate about baking, pizza, and specialty pour-over coffee. Has lived in at least ten different cities. Home has taken a few forms — but finally found it in Tuscany.
For those who want their wedding remembered as it actually felt.
